Traditionally, control systems give a graphical chart of the process with live measurements from the process. As an example, a filled valve on a pipe represents an open valve. Deviations from the normal operation is alerted with one alarm pr. sensor. The understanding of why an alarm was raised, is up to the individual control room operators expertise. This is also the case for consequences of the alarm.
Kairos reason on a "fingerprint" of the sensor deviations(alarms) and returns the likely root causes along with corresponding developments into consequences.
Basing decisions on ranked root causes and consequences is much more effective and easier than basing them on symptoms alone.
